Preliminary Provisions
Applicability
The Sales Terms of M&C Carlsson Plåt AB apply to the delivery of products and services as of the above date and replace previous Sales Terms published by M&C Carlsson Plåt AB.
These Sales Terms apply in relevant parts unless otherwise agreed.
Product Information
The goods presented on M&C Carlsson Plåt AB’s website constitute the regular assortment of M&C Carlsson Plåt AB.
Prices and Shipping
Current product prices are provided on M&C Carlsson Plåt AB’s website, which is updated in real-time. Prices are listed in SEK and exclude VAT. Shipping costs are additional. M&C Carlsson Plåt AB reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The price listed on the website is valid unless otherwise specifically agreed upon.
Shipping is added to all deliveries. The total shipping cost is calculated at the billing of the order, based on the weight of the shipment, whether the shipment is bulky, if the shipment needs to be delivered on a pallet, or if it comprises several packages.
Payment terms and security
Payment can be made by invoice for logged-in corporate customers. Corporate clients may have specific payment agreements and terms that are not covered by these conditions, based on mutually agreed terms between the corporate client and M&C Carlsson Plåt AB.
When an invoice is issued, the invoice amount must be available in M&C Carlsson Plåt AB’s bank account no later than thirty (30) days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed upon in specific payment agreements with corporate customers. In case of late payment, M&C Carlsson Plåt AB has the right to charge interest on arrears according to the Interest Act, as well as statutory reminder fees and collection fees, including collection costs.
Errors in an invoice from M&C Carlsson Plåt AB must be claimed no later than 8 days after the invoice date. If a claim is not made in time, the error cannot be invoked against M&C Carlsson Plåt AB.
The products remain the property of M&C Carlsson Plåt AB until full payment is made.
If there is reasonable doubt regarding the customer’s ability to pay, M&C Carlsson Plåt AB has the right to shorten the credit period, require advance payment, or other security for future deliveries, unless different terms have been agreed upon in specific payment agreements with corporate customers.
Order and order confirmation
By making a purchase from M&C Carlsson Plåt AB, the customer accepts these Sales Terms. A binding agreement between the parties is established at the time of ordering. Only for web orders is a confirmation of receipt sent with information about the contents of the order. For purchase portals behind a login, other terms may apply depending on the customer’s own preferences.
Shipping
Delivery occurs within Sweden and by a transporter contracted by M&C Carlsson Plåt AB. For international shipments, products are shipped in accordance with an agreement with the customer, especially if the customer has their own agreement with a shipping company. Customs duties and VAT costs may apply depending on the buyer’s country and conditions.
M&C Carlsson Plåt AB bears no responsibility whatsoever for delivery delays, regardless of whether the delay is due to the transporter, delay or backorder from the product manufacturer, or another circumstance.
Unclaimed packages
We reserve the right to charge for the actual costs that arise from unclaimed packages, including return freight and handling fees. The specific costs will be invoiced to the customer in the case of unclaimed deliveries. Please note that if you wish to cancel a purchase and return the item, you must first collect the package and then return it according to the instructions provided above.
Returns
M&C Carlsson Plåt AB accepts returns of a product from the regular assortment no later than 14 days from the invoice date under the conditions below. The product must be unused and returned in unopened original packaging, free from dirt, markings, and damages. The customer must pay the shipping for the return.
For return requests, the customer should contact M&C Carlsson Plåt AB. Note that issuing a return slip does not mean that M&C Carlsson Plåt AB has approved the return. The customer must return the product to M&C Carlsson Plåt AB along with a copy of the order slip. Returns approved by M&C Carlsson Plåt AB must be received by M&C Carlsson Plåt AB no later than 14 days after the invoice date. The shipping must be paid and the product well-packaged in approved outer packaging. The customer bears the risk for the product during transport.
The following products are not covered by the return right:
– Stocked products that have been processed
– Other non-returnable products (for example, custom-made products.)
Returns not approved for return are sent back to the customer at the customer’s expense. Approved returns are credited to the customer after deducting any return cost. Approval of returns requires compliance with the above-mentioned commitments.
Transport damages
The customer must inspect the delivered products upon receipt. Transport damage must be reported to the transporter and to M&C Carlsson Plåt AB on the day of delivery. Hidden transport
damages not discovered or should have been discovered at delivery must be claimed as soon as possible and in all circumstances within one week from the receipt of the delivery. If the customer does not claim transport damages within the specified time limits, the customer loses the right to make claims against the transporter and M&C Carlsson Plåt AB.
Complaints
The customer must inspect the product/delivery upon receipt. To claim that a product/delivery is faulty, the customer must immediately after discovering the fault, claim the fault to M&C Carlsson Plåt AB, but no later than 14 days from the invoice date, and return the product in a certain specified manner.
For complaints, the customer should contact M&C Carlsson Plåt AB. Note that receiving a case number or issuing a return slip is not equivalent to an approved complaint. When returning the product, the return shipping to M&C Carlsson Plåt AB must be paid. Furthermore, the order number, invoice, and detailed description of the fault must accompany the product. In case of an incorrect complaint, M&C Carlsson Plåt AB has the right to send the product back to the customer and charge a shipping fee. Returns should be sent back well packaged in approved packaging. The customer bears the risk for the product during transport. Any transport damages due to insufficient packaging will be charged to the customer.
Warranty
M&C Carlsson Plåt AB offers a 5-year warranty on all products. Please note that this warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper use, normal wear and tear, unauthorized modifications, or external causes such as accidents or environmental conditions. To make a warranty claim, customers should contact M&C Carlsson Plåt AB with proof of purchase and a description of the defect.
Liability
If there is a defect for which M&C Carlsson Plåt AB is responsible, M&C Carlsson Plåt AB undertakes to, at its own discretion, remedy the defect through repair, redelivery, or refund of the purchase price. M&C Carlsson Plåt AB is not responsible for the compatibility of products with other products in the M&C Carlsson Plåt AB assortment or with the customer’s existing equipment, unless otherwise explicitly stated by M&C Carlsson Plåt AB or indicated in product conditions provided by M&C Carlsson Plåt AB. M&C Carlsson Plåt AB’s liability for product defects is limited to what is stated above, and the customer cannot direct other claims against M&C Carlsson Plåt AB due to defects. M&C Carlsson Plåt AB is under no circumstances liable for indirect damages or consequential damages, such as production downtime or lost profits.
The total liability that may arise for M&C Carlsson Plåt AB towards the customer (including liability for actions or omissions by M&C Carlsson Plåt AB employees, representatives, or subcontractors as well as liability related to price reductions, redelivery, or similar) is limited to the total price paid by the customer for the products during the last twelve (12) month period.

The information is protected by marketing law and intellectual property laws, which means that trademarks, company names, product names, images and graphics, design, layout, etc. may not be copied or otherwise used without written approval from M&C Carlsson Plåt AB. Printing or other copying of the material is allowed for personal, private, non-commercial use. It is prohibited to copy, save or otherwise reproduce, process, modify, transmit, transfer, otherwise exploit or utilize the material or parts thereof without prior written permission from M&C Carlsson Plåt AB.
Customer accounts
Login details (username and password) for customer accounts on M&C Carlsson Plåt AB’s website must be handled so that they do not become known to unauthorized persons. By giving their login details to someone else, the customer thereby confirms that that person has the right to place orders in the customer’s name and that the customer is liable for payment for such orders in relation to M&C Carlsson Plåt AB. For customer accounts belonging to legal entities, all persons who have access to the login details of the customer account are considered authorized to place orders on behalf of the customer. If the customer suspects that an unauthorized person has access to their login details, it is the customer’s responsibility to immediately notify M&C Carlsson Plåt AB and change their password.
Personal data
When M&C Carlsson Plåt AB is the data controller
In connection with the customer’s orders for products and services, M&C Carlsson Plåt AB will process personal data about the customer’s contact persons (“corporate representatives”) for the purposes and under the conditions stated in M&C Carlsson Plåt AB’s privacy policy. By creating a corporate account with M&C Carlsson Plåt AB, the customer confirms that the customer has informed the relevant corporate representatives about M&C Carlsson Plåt AB’s processing of their personal data and obtained their consent to the processing.
In cases where M&C Carlsson Plåt AB acts as a data processor for the customer, the parties will enter into a separate data processing agreement regarding the processing of personal data that M&C Carlsson Plåt AB does on behalf of the customer.
Applicable law and dispute
Swedish law shall apply to these Sales Terms. Disputes arising from these Sales Terms shall be finally settled by court. M&C Carlsson Plåt AB shall also always have the right to apply for a payment order or bring an action concerning outstanding payment at a general court.
Force majeure
M&C Carlsson Plåt AB has the right towards the customer, without liability for compensation, to cancel, limit or postpone delivery to the extent that the performance of the delivery is made impossible or significantly hindered or increased in cost due to circumstances beyond M&C Carlsson Plåt AB’s control, such as war-like events, riots and disturbances, interruption in public connections, export and import restrictions, legal regulation or other decrees by authorities in Sweden or abroad, strike, lockout, blockade or other labor hindrance, fire, explosion or other accident, or for errors or delays in services from subcontractors due to the aforementioned circumstances.
Miscellaneous
M&C Carlsson Plåt AB reserves the right to change all information, including but not limited to, prices, specifications, and product offerings without prior notice.
Information and prices are provided with reservation for printing and typing errors, inaccuracies in specified technical specifications, suppliers’ price increases, and for sold-out items.
The information provided on M&C Carlsson Plåt AB’s website does not constitute a promise of usability, suitability, or warranty other than where it is directly specified in writing to the customer. Current offers are valid while stocks last unless otherwise stated.
The customer does not have the right to transfer the agreement or rights and obligations related to the agreement without M&C Carlsson Plåt AB’s written consent.
M&C Carlsson Plåt AB reserves the right to change these Sales Terms at any time.
